Missing a Course
• Providing notice at least 4 weeks before course date
If a course date is to be missed during the full program, rescheduling to complete the course in the next available program is possible if notice is given prior to 4 weeks before the course date.
If a course date is missed and notice is given less than 4 weeks prior to course date, then you can reschedule this course for another date but there will be a $200 fee in order to do this.
• Missing a course without providing any notice due to extraordinary circumstances
If a course date is missed without any notice, a written request for rescheduling must be submitted to the Program’s Administrative Coordinator within 2 weeks after the date that the course was missed. Approval will depend on the nature of the extraordinary circumstances that have caused the rescheduling. If a rescheduling is granted, the course will be considered “postponed” and a $150.00 rescheduling admin fee shall apply in order to complete the Unit in the next available program.
If no written request was timely submitted or if it was rejected, the Course would be considered “NOT COMPLETED” and the registrant would have to sign up for the course when it is next available and pay the full fee.
Truly unanticipated extraordinary circumstances shall be evaluated on an individual basis. Unanticipated extraordinary circumstances include medical emergencies properly documented by a medical certificate.
Under NO circumstances shall a given course be rescheduled more than twice. In that case, the program participant will be recorded as “FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE PROGRAM” and no further rescheduling rights will exist. A full registration for a new program will be required.
Reserves the right to cancel the course, change the dates and venue, instructors or introduce program modifications without prior notice.
