We provide a 10-course Acupuncture & Dry Needling Training Series for Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Doctors, Naturopaths, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists, Dentists and Nurses over a 12 month period. The program consists of ten 8 hour day courses every second Sunday and takes approximately 6 months to complete. Upon completion of this program, students will receive a Diploma of Acupuncture & Dry Needling for their scope of practice. Additionally, our students learn the techniques of acupressure, guasha, cupping, and use of an electroacupunctoscope.
Health professionals who have taken a previous course in Acupuncture, also have the option to take any of the individual day courses offered in our program if they wish to consolidate or add to their previous learning. Each regulatory college has different regulations for its members.
For example, physiotherapists in Ontario can take any of our courses (provided they take our introduction course or another introduction course first) and can roster immediately and use the points they have learned immediately. In other provinces, they have to submit proof and receive an approval before commencing the use of acupuncture. Chiropractors in Ontario require a certain “minimum” amount of hours in order to use acupuncture in their practice. If you are considering taking any of our courses offered across Canada, feel free to contact us if you have any questions and also contact your regulatory college to ensure you have the most updated regulations for your profession.
